Ian Dunne joined Star in the capacity of ‘Business Development Manager’ in 2005. Prior to joining Star, Ian held the position of State Business Development Manager for a major Australian Software Company. During his 10 years within the IT software industry he has worked with a few with different Tier One International software companies including the USA based companies Dun & Bradstreet Software and Geac Computers, where he was the ‘National Business Development Manager’ for both companies.

Prior to entering the IT industry, Ian gained a wealth of business experience as he held senior executive positions such as CFO and CIO at a major Victorian State Government Utility Company, were he worked for over 25 years.

Through out his working life, Ian has held a number of senior IT positions such as a Senior Project Manager, Professional Services Manager (PSO), Business Development Manager (BDM) and Senior Consultant.
